About Paw Performance

Paw Performance® was founded out of a passion for dogs which started when Kim was 14 and her father gave her permission to have her very own dog (Beauty, a fabulous collie cross) on the condition she took her dog training.  Yes, that's when her passion for dogs and more specifically dog training began.

She went to obedience classes and enjoyed participating in competitive obedience. Later she was invited to become dog trainer at her club, which was the Basingstoke and District Dog Training Club.  A role she enjoyed at the club for many years.   She has fond memories of starting her dog training apprenticeship there and has gone on to train many dogs since. Training a variety of breeds from Jack Russels, crossbreeds and today she currently trains her Border Collie in obedience and heelwork to music and the recent addition to the Lyddon family a Pyrenenan Sheepdog puppy called Archie.

Kim is currently a 'Member working towards her KCAI ACCREDITATION' (Membership No. LK211054).

She is also an IABTC Approved Instructor.

Kim has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and studied all aspects of dog behaviour and training.  She has successfully complete courses on Canine Psychology and Behaviour and Dog Training Theory at Reaseheath College.  Learning how the canine mind works.  Working with rescue dogs.  Understanding dog communication.

She has had the good fortune to have trained with and learnt from some of the best trainers in the world of dog training and canine behaviour such as Mary Ray, Angela White, Richard Curtis, Lynda Edmondson and Gwynneth Williams.

Kim's own passion for learning means she continually keeps up to date with the latest dog training techniques.
